Christine Taylor, M.D.

Christine Burke Taylor, MD, is an associate professor of head and neck surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is also a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon at UT Health San Antonio. Growing up in Southern California and studying Spanish Literature at the University of Notre Dame, she fell in love with San Antonio during medical school and is proud to serve the South Texas community. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, excellent care and is fluent in Spanish.

Beyond her general surgical practice, Dr. Taylor specializes in treating facial paralysis and nerve disorders. She works hand-in-hand with physical therapists to restore both function and confidence to her patients. She also performs intricate reconstructions following skin cancer removal and complex head and neck surgeries, including advanced microvascular tissue transfers.

Dr. Taylor’s extensive training includes a residency at UT Health San Antonio and a specialized fellowship at the University of Minnesota and the Hilger Clinic. There, she mastered both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the head and face. Today, she combines this high-level technical expertise with a warm, patient-first approach to help every individual she treats feel and look their best.
