Research
Numerous clinical research studies are conducted at the CTRC Institute for Drug Development, and each patient participating in a research study is individually evaluated. After each patient gives his or her informed consent, drugs may be administered intravenously, by injection or orally. Some treatments require the patient to be admitted to one of the local hospitals participating in the Phase I research program. Each patient's progress is continually monitored by our expert team of physicians, nurses, and other medical support personnel. Participation in a clinical research study is voluntary, and a patient may withdraw from a study at any time.
