Directions to CTRC at The UT Health Science Center

The Cancer Therapy & Research Center’s facilities include two major campuses, and three satellite locations totaling 331,000 square feet and 43 acres. Our main campus is a 327,000 square foot world-class, multi-disciplinary, academic cancer research and treatment center situated in the heart of San Antonio’s South Texas Medical Center.

From San Antonio International Airport


Option 1 See map

  1. Start out going NORTH on AIRPORT BLVD.
  2. Turn RIGHT.
  3. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto AIRPORT EXIT/ AIRPORT BLVD. Continue to follow AIRPORT BLVD.
  4. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NE I-410-LOOP. 0.3 miMap Avoid
  5. Merge onto I-410 W via the ramp on the LEFT.
  6. Take EXIT 15 toward FREDERICKSBURG RD.
  7. Stay on access road.
  8. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto FREDERICKSBURG RD
  9. Turn LEFT onto WURZBACH RD.
  10. End at 7979 Wurzbach Rd San Antonio, TX 78229-4427

Option 2 (map)

  1. Start out going NORTH on AIRPORT BLVD.
  2. Turn RIGHT.
  3. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto AIRPORT EXIT/ AIRPORT BLVD.
  4. Continue to follow AIRPORT BLVD.
  5. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NE I-410-LOOP.
  6. Merge onto I-410 W via the ramp on the LEFT.
  7. Take EXIT 14C toward BABCOCK RD.
  8. Turn RIGHT onto BABCOCK RD.
  9. Turn RIGHT onto WURZBACH RD.
  10. Turn LEFT into CTRC.

From I-410-LOOP (map)

  1. Take EXIT 13A toward TX-16 N/ LEON VALLEY/ SAN ANTONIO.
  2. Turn LEFT onto BANDERA RD.
  3. Turn RIGHT onto WURZBACH RD.
  4. Continue along WURZBACH RD (CTRC is on the left after you pass Medical Dr).
  5. Turn LEFT into CTRC.

From I-10 East (map)

  1. Take EXIT 561 toward WURZBACH RD.
  2. Turn RIGHT onto WURZBACH RD.
  3. Continue along WURZBACH RD (CTRC is the building on your right after you pass Floyd Curl Dr).
  4. Turn Right into CTRC.
