Support Groups

  • Make Today Count Support Group - A peer-led support group designed for anyone diagnosed affected by cancer. Participants learn coping techniques and find emotional support while developing friendships with others going through similar experiences.

  • Your Grey Does Matter - Offers hope and coping skills to anybody diagnosed with a brain tumor. Caregivers welcome.

  • Soul Friends Program - A Soul Friend is a special volunteer who can provide a listening and supportive presence to help you discover emotional and spiritual resources you can use to cope with a cancer diagnosis. Contact (210)450-5574 for more information or to schedule a Soul Friend visit.


  • From diagnosis to recovery, fighting cancer makes greats demands on your body's nutritional stores.  At CTRC, the Oncology Registered Dietitian helps patients get the nutrition they need to fight cancer and minimize side effects.
