The Quality Assurance Division (QAD) is responsible for conducting quality control audits which focus on verifying data validity and integrity, safety of participants, ensuring regulatory compliance, subject eligibility, and protocol compliance. In addition the QAD also focuses on documentation standards, verification of source documentation to Case Report Form entry (CRF), CRF timeliness as well as reviewing adverse events, serious adverse events, non-compliance reports and Unanticipated Problems Involving Research Subjects and Others (UPIRSO) to ensure patient safety.

The QAD is also responsible for collecting information and producing reports for the Data Safety Monitoring Committee and the Protocol Review Committee actions and provides GCP training to both faculty and staff.
