A registered, licensed dietitian is on staff to provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, staff and families. All patients receiving treatment at CTRC may receive nutrition consultation at no charge. Please make an appointment with your dietitian if experiencing— weight loss, weight gain, poor appetite, difficulty swallowing, changes in taste and smell, early satiety, constipation, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, hyper/hypoglycemia, or if you have any general oncology nutrition questions.

  • Nutrition assessment
  • Individualized nutrition education
  • Counseling on managing nutrition-related treatment side effects
  • Counseling on all aspects of nutrition support during cancer treatment
  • Counseling on medical use of herbs and supplements where appropriate and medically supervised
