Dr. Osswald attended medical school at the Boston University School of Medicine, completed an internship in internal medicine at Keesler USAF Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. After a residency in dermatology in San Antonio through the Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC), she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in dermatopathology at the AFIP Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C. Her expertise ranges from medical skin diseases such as psoriasis, rosacea, acne, and cutaneous skin cancers to dermatopathology interpretation and laser therapies. She is also an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous skin cancers including melanoma, moles, cysts. Dr. Osswald is a retired colonel in the U.S. Air Force.
