Dr. Simpson is an assistant professor of medicine specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. After completing her medical degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Dr. Simpson moved to San Antonio for her residency and fellowship at the Health Science Center, where she was chief resident in 2004. She is currently a hospitalist at University Hospital and the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, in addition to serving as the director of UT Medicine’s pulmonary and sleep clinics.
