Devalingam Mahalingam, MD, PhD

Dr. Mahalingam is a faculty member of the Division of Hematology Oncology at the Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC). He completed his Internal Medicine training and Medical Oncology fellowship in Ireland, during which time he also concurrently received his Ph.D. research in 2008 with a focus on drug development. He then completed the Advanced Fellowship Program at the Institute for Drug Development at CTRC before his appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the CTRC. His career is dedicated to clinical and laboratory research in gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) cancers. Among his clinical research interests is a focus on hepatocellular cancer in the GI clinic. His groundbreaking research has been presented in many scientific seminars and large international meetings.
