Liver and Pancreatic Surgery Program

The CTRC Liver and Pancreatic Surgery Program is South Texas’ first and only multi-disciplinary program consisting of physicians and nurses dedicated to providing advanced and aggressive therapy to patients with Liver and or Pancreatic Cancer.  We have over 50 years of combined experience dealing with disorders involving liver, pancreas, and bile ducts. 

Our multidisciplinary team consists of:

• Advanced Endoscopists
• Medical Oncologists
• Interventional Radiologists
• Radiation Oncologists
• Pathologists
• Coordinators

In a unique academic collaboration with UT Medicine San Antonio, the CTRC is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and up to date care possible to those patients with liver and or pancreas diseases.  The team meets weekly in a multidisciplinary fashion to determine the best recommendation for these unique patients.  These plans are then sent to the referring physicians and the patients.  Different parts of the care and treatment may be done comprehensively, or in part by certain groups in the team.
